Ya Girl is certified!

I accomplished something special recently.

I completed my Tarot Advisor Certification!

This was an intense journey. I started the certification program at the end of March 2022 … about two weeks before my mom died. In fact, the certification program was one of the last things we ever talked about. My mom was so excited for me. And I was looking forward to exploring something I’d become passionate about.

After my mom died, everything stopped. And a lot of things still haven’t restarted. But studying tarot and connecting with people in my study groups and in tarot communities helped pull me out of a really dark place. 

Going through the certification process also helped me re-evaluate my connection with tarot. It was a fantastic resource to help me face my demons, process grief and practice gratitude.

I also realized that my desire to help others was one of the drivers behind my decision to get certified. I wanted people to feel confident in my ability to listen to and help them. I wanted to use the skills and knowledge I was gaining to help people like me, people who might be experiencing loss, grief or sorrow. I wanted to help people gain clarity when they were lost or overwhelmed. 

So that’s what I’m doing here. The Naked Tarot is a way for me to help others through tarot. I hope you’ll allow me to be part of your journey.
